Shaogang town

The town is located 10 kilometers east of Yucheng County, at the junction of Henan, Shandong and Anhui provinces, between Yucheng County, Xiayi County, Shanxian County in Shandong and Dangshan County in Anhui Province. It is adjacent to Liuji Township in the north, dayangji town in the East and station town in Xiayi County in the East, old Li's hometown in the West and Zhengji Township in the south. Historical evolution

Shaogang Town, formerly known as shaogangji, belonged to the Fourth District in 1949. It was changed to Shaogang District in 1954. In 1955, it was withdrawn from the district to build a township, belonging to Shaogang township. In 1958, it belonged to Shaogang people's commune. In 1961, it belonged to Yangji district again. In 1965, it belonged to Shaogang people's commune again. In 1983, it was established. On February 17, 2014, it was approved by Henan Provincial People's government to establish Shaogang town.
