Jiangang Township, located in the northwest of Sui County, is adjacent to Dongdian in the East, suburbs in the south, Liaodi in the West and Minquan County in the north. Jiangang township is 15 kilometers away from Longhai Railway and 310 National Road in the north, 6 kilometers away from Lianhuo expressway, 1.5 kilometers away from Mintai highway in the East, and Huangyu road across the whole territory. The "village to village" project has been fully completed, with convenient transportation and superior location. The township covers an area of 52.44 square kilometers (2017), cultivated land of 48000 mu, population of 32410 people (2017), and has jurisdiction over 25 administrative villages and 66 natural villages.

Cultural tourism
There are ancient tombs of Han Dynasty in Hengshan village of Jiangang Township, one of which is the "eight sceneries of Suizhou" chanted by ancient scholars. Hengshan temple was originally built in the village, but it no longer exists. Since the 1950s, when the local villagers worked here, they often found Han tombs, mostly 26 × 15 × 5cm rope pattern brick tombs, also hollow brick tombs, unearthed utensils, pottery, jade Bi, jade belt hook, iron sword, iron scissors and so on. In addition to the Han tombs, there are also ancient cultural layers whose upper limit age can not be determined. The collection of pottery from Longshan culture to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty has attracted the attention of Archaeology and cultural relic departments. It is now a key cultural relic protection unit at the county level. There is a Sanzi temple in Wangzhuang village. Wang bodang and Xie Yingdeng, the leaders of Wagang uprising army in the late Sui Dynasty, were defeated and died. They were buried here. There is a tomb of three people in the village and a Sanzi Temple (commonly known as Hengshan Temple). Chen Xiaolou village used to be one of the battlefields of suiqi battle. General Su Yu once commanded the battle here. Now there is a memorial to the battle site in the village. In April 2018, general Su Rongsheng, former deputy commander of Beijing Military Region, the son of general Su Yu, visited here. It has become a patriotic education base and one of the red tourist attractions in Sui County. Tiefosi lake, located in tiefosi village, Jiangang Township, suixian County, covers an area of nearly 1000 mu and is under construction.
Historical evolution
In 1958, it belonged to Dongdian and Liaodi communes, Jiangang commune in 1974, and township in 1984. In 1997, it covers an area of 54.1 square kilometers and has a population of 34000. It has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages including Jiangang, laoguanzhang, Qianwu, Wangzhuang, huangdazhuang, yantulou, huangxiaolou, xuantun, huangcaiyuan, Junzhuang, Guoying, hanjiying, zhangxiaoji, chenxiaolou, Yanzhuang, Huangzhuang, Hengshan, Xiaoqiao, Lulou, tiefosi, muyujing, chenbanzhi and Xuezhuang.
