In 617 (the 13th year of Yang emperor Yang guangkuangye), he was named Duke of Wei and was granted the title of Duke of Langya. After killing zhairang secretly, he and Xu Shiji led the rest of the people, and then he entered the pass from Li mi (referring to the west of Tongguan today) to the Tang Dynasty. He was killed in the Tang Dynasty.
Wang Bo Dang, the leader of the peasant uprising army in the Sui and Wei dynasties, once stationed troops here, and left a son and an heir to breed and take root here. Therefore, it was originally named bodangji and renamed bodang in Ming Dynasty.
