Zhuangzi town

Zhuangzi Town, a township under the jurisdiction of Minquan County in Henan Province, was originally Shunhe township. It is located in the northeast of Minquan County, adjacent to Yimiao Township and Beiguan town of Minquan county. It is located at the junction of Henan and Shandong provinces, and borders Caoxian County in Shandong Province, with a border of 14 kilometers.

Historical evolution

Shunhe commune was established in 1975, Shunhe township was established in 1983, and Zhuangzi town was established in 2012.

Zhuangzi town has 22 administrative villages and 54 natural villages. The administrative villages include Zhanglou, Sunzhuang, zhuwuzhuang, bianzhuang, Antang, shuaizhuang, lihutong, Zhangzhuang, lvzhuang, Liuliu, Laozhuang, Shilou, Huazhuang, Wangdong, Zhangjing, Tianzhuang, Daan, Shian, Shixian, weilou, Lilou and Wangxi.

Economics

Zhuangzi town belongs to the agricultural township of the alluvial plain of the old Yellow River, so the north bank dike of the Yellow River is divided into North and south parts. With 38000 mu of arable land and fertile soil, it has become a major grain and cotton producing area. Wheat production base and high-quality cotton base have been built, and land vegetable and pepper planting has gradually become large-scale. Beihe depression has 18000 mu. Hometown of Zhuangzi

The hometown of Zhuangzi, Qinglian temple in Zhuangzi town is the place where Zhuangzi Jing, Zhuangzi Hutong and the site of Zhuangzi's former residence were born and lived. It is listed as a key cultural relic protection unit by the people's Government of Henan Province. Now, Zhuangzi pavilion has been built for people's leisure, sightseeing and entertainment.
