Shijiehe town

Shijiehe town is located in the deep mountain area in the north of Xixia County, Henan Province, at the foot of Funiu Mountain and Laojieling mountain. It borders Miaozi town of Luanchuan county and Taiping town of Xixia County in the north, MIPING town in the East, DINGHE town in the South and Sangping town in the West. The government is 68 km away from the county. The town governs 9 administrative villages, 75 villager groups, 11991 people (in 2017), with a total area of 195.24 square kilometers (in 2017), 3000 mu of cultivated land, 170000 mu of forest land, and less than 0.3 mu of cultivated land per capita.

Shijiehe Town, formerly known as shijiehe Township, is under the jurisdiction of Xixia County, Nanyang City, Henan Province. On September 12, 2013, shijiehe Township held the listing ceremony of "withdrawing township to build town".

Due to the inconvenient transportation, lack of resources, backward economic development, extremely limited income of the masses, people's life is not very rich, it is a typical poor small township in mountainous areas.

In 2012, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the township reached 530 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 24%; the investment in fixed assets of the whole society reached 210 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19%; the per capita net income of farmers reached 5840 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18%; the local public financial revenue reached 1.29 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17%.
