Pukou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Gaoyang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located 4.7 kilometers north of Gaoyang County, bordering xiaowangguozhuang town in the East, Jinhua street in the south, Anxin County in the north and Jinzhuang town in the West. With a total area of 52.49 square kilometers, the original Pukou township has a total population of 24759 in 2019.

Historical evolution

In August 1957, nanpukou township was built.

In September 1958, it belonged to Chengguan people's commune.

In April 1961, nanpukou commune was established.

In 1984, it was changed to Pukou township.

On December 31, 2020, with the approval of Hebei Provincial People's government, Gaoyang County was approved to abolish Pukou Township and establish Pukou town.
