Wuhou street is located in the west of Nanyang City Center in Henan Province, starting from Zhongzhou Road and high tech Zone in the north, Wolong Road and WoLonggang street in the south, Chezhan South Road in the East and Wangcun Township in the West.

It covers an area of 13.6 square kilometers and has a population of 60759 (in 2010). It has jurisdiction over 7 neighborhood committees of Wuhou, zhannan, Beijing Road, north of Nanyang Normal College, No.2 rubber factory, east of Nanyang Medical College and Cuizhuang, and two administrative villages of Maozhuang and jianggou (a total of 9 natural villages and 13 villager groups). There are 82 government organs, enterprises and institutions and 31 families' homes in the jurisdiction. The cultivated area is 3326 mu. The temporary office of the street Party Working Committee and office is located in the west side of the south end of Beijing Avenue and the office building of Shenghua construction company (200 meters north of the intersection of Beijing Avenue and Wuhou Road, west of the road, leased). There are 136 in-service cadres and workers (including community personnel). According to the principles of road as the boundary, regional partition, mass recognition, respect for history and convenient management, the street is divided into three plate communities (Wuhou community, zhannan community and beijinglu community), three unit communities (North Community of Nanyang Normal University, erjiaochang community and East community of Nanyang Medical College), one village in the city (neighborhood committee of Cuizhuang community) and two agricultural administrative villages（ Maozhuang village and jianggou Village).

Evolution of administrative districts

Wuhou street of Wolong District was established in March 2006 by the city and district in order to adapt to the development of the situation, change the urban management mode and improve the service level. It is named after Wuhou Temple, a famous historical and cultural tourist attraction.

Wuhou sub district office is located at the junction of urban and rural areas in the central city of Nanyang, bounded by Beijing road. The eastern part is the bustling central city, and the western part is the rural suburb with idyllic scenery. There are 4 projects under construction, with a total investment of 37.1 million yuan. They are: Cuizhuang village office and residential building, Cuizhuang primary school commercial and residential building, normal school stadium and longpeng automobile repair 4S shop. There are three proposed projects with a total investment of 80 million yuan. They are Nanfang wood industry phase II expansion project, Cuizhuang commercial and residential building, Wuhou Street Community Service Center and other projects.

The family courtyard style street homes for the elderly have been established, and 20 people have been identified as the objects of the five guarantees, 10 families with double support, and 67 people should enjoy social relief.
