Daliu town

Daliu town is located in the southwest of Yuanhui District, Luohe City, 15 kilometers away from Luohe City. It is adjacent to kongzhongguo Township in the East, Wenshi Township in the west, Xiping County in the south, and yinyangzhao Township in the north across the Li River. The town is 9 km wide from east to west and 11.2 km long from north to south, with a total area of 42 square kilometers (2017) and 43826 mu of arable land. Historical evolution

Daliu is a famous historical town. It was first seen in the Tang Dynasty according to historical records. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, they belonged to zhongchengbao and zigangbao respectively. In 1929, it belonged to the Southwest District of Yancheng county. In 1937, it belonged to Daliu District of Yancheng county. In 1940, it was established as Daliu town of Yancheng county. Daliu District of Yancheng county was established in the second half of 1949, and Daliu commune of Yancheng county was established in 1959. In 1984, it was changed into Daliu township of Yancheng county. In October 1992, it was divided into Daliu Township and Wenshi township. In April 2001, the township was removed and built into a town. In 2004, Luohe was under the jurisdiction of Yuanhui district.

Economics
