Beida street is located in Weidu District of Xuchang City, with Wenfeng Road in the East, Beijing Guangzhou railway in the west, Jian'an Avenue in the south, Dingzhuang street in the north, Wenfeng street in the northeast and Xida street in the southeast, covering an area of about 3.7 square kilometers.

Beida street was set up in May 1978. In 1997, it covers an area of 3.7 square kilometers and has a population of 38000. It has 17 neighborhood committees, including Beidajie, Beiguan, Jichang street, Xinjie, Qingxu street, Jingxiang street, Hubin Road, Xihu, Laodong Road, Cultural District, Bayi Road, Laodong new village, Laodong road Xixiang, Yuhuangge, teachers college, county construction company and thermal power plant.
