Zhongzhao Township, Neihuang County, Anyang City, Henan Province is located in the southeast of Neihuang County, 38 kilometers south of the county. It is adjacent to Houhe town in the north, Liangzhuang town in the west, Xinxi township of Puyang County and Wangzhu township of Puyang high tech Zone in the East, and sijianfang of Huaxian County in the south. It covers an area of 58.9 square kilometers and has a population of 19973 (2017).

Zhongzhao township is a part of the Yellow River alluvial plain with flat terrain and four distinct seasons. Historical evolution

Zhongzhao township is located on the gold dike on the South Bank of the old Yellow River, 38 kilometers south of Neihuang County, adjacent to Houhe town in the north, Liangzhuang town in the west, Xinxi town in Puyang County and Wangzhu town in Puyang high tech Zone in the East, and sijianfang town in Hua county in the South. In the history of zhongzhao Township, its subordinate relationship was changeable. In song and Yuan Dynasties, it was subordinate to Tianzhou (Puyang), and in Ming Yongle, it was changed into Renshou township of Huaxian County, Daming Prefecture of Zhili. It was divided into the Fifth District of Gaoling County in 1940, the Fourth District of Neihuang County in 1949. In 1957, it was withdrawn from the district and merged with the township to establish a district level zhongzhao township.
