Located 12 kilometers west of Lushan County in Henan Province, the reservoir area township is surrounded by Zhaopingtai reservoir. It is adjacent to Ranghe Township in the East, Xiatang town in the west, Dongzhou Township in the north, Tuancheng Township in the south, and national highways 311 and 207 and Zhengyao expressway. The total area of the township is 102 square kilometers, the normal water area of the reservoir is 35.5 square kilometers, and the maximum water storage capacity is 720 million cubic meters.
