Hongzhuangyang town is located in Ye County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, with Wuyang County in the East, Xiangcheng County in the north and Weidong District in the West. It is 10 kilometers away from Pingdingshan City, covering an area of 45 square kilometers and 36000 mu of cultivated land.

Evolution of organizational system

According to the county annals, in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the surname of Hong was Jiancun, named Hongzhuang. In the early Ming Dynasty, the surname of Yang moved in, so it was renamed Hongzhuang Yang. After several changes, the administrative name was changed to hongzhuangyang town in March 2017.
