Banmu Township
Banmu township is located in the southernmost part of Qi County, adjacent to Zongdian Township in the East, Zhulin Township and Yuzhen Township in the west, Longqu and Gaoxian of Taikang County in the South and Fuji town in the north. The whole township is flat, high in the northwest and low in the southeast. Tiedi river runs through the whole territory from west to East. Banmu township is 8.6 kilometers long from north to South and 6 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 57.43 square kilometers.
Historical evolution
During the Anti Japanese War, it was one of the central areas of Shuidong base. Banmu district was established in 1949, renamed Banmu Central Township in 1955, Banmu people's commune in 1958, and Banmu Township in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 51.5 square kilometers and has a population of 35000. It governs 24 administrative villages, including Banxi, Bannan, banbei, banmudong village, gangliu, LIULIMIAO, Maqiao, Zhangzhuang, liuzhuangtun, Waliu, gushugang, Mazhuang, Dalizhuang, zhangxianzhuang, chenzigang, Wuqi, Zhuzhuang, Wuzhuang, houtang, Qianying, Zhongying, Chenzhuang, Zhangguan and Tangkou.

Economics
With the continuous strengthening of infrastructure construction, 50000 mu of cultivated land in the township has basically formed a pattern of "ditch connected, road connected, forest network, dry irrigation, waterlogging drainage". With rich agricultural resources, it is the main production area of wheat, cotton, corn and soybean. Remarkable results have been achieved in the structural adjustment of planting industry. Vegetable and three cherry pepper planting bases have been built, and animal husbandry has become the pillar industry of farmers' income The number of model farms is increasing. Kaifeng Evergrande beef cattle breeding and fattening base in banmuxi village is the largest and largest beef cattle breeding plant in Kaifeng City, with 34000 pigs, 2700 cattle and 25000 sheep on hand. The construction of new socialist countryside is changing with each passing day. The roads are unblocked, the village is clean and tidy, biogas enters the house, medical care is guaranteed, and the flower of spiritual civilization is gorgeous and open.
Within the scope permitted by the national policy, the township party committee and government have issued preferential policies for attracting investment, taking care of land use, handling procedures, taxation and other aspects respectively.
