Beidian Township

Beidian Township, belonging to Qingyuan District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Qingyuan District, 8.1km away from the urban area, bordering Shiqiao Township and zhangdeng town in the East, Ranzhuang town in the south, baituan Township in the West and Qingyuan town in the north. The largest distance is 7.7 km, the largest 8.7 km from north and south, the total area is 45.02 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 33154 (2018).

Beidian Township got its name because the township government was located in beixindian village. In May 1984, it was rebuilt into Beidian township. In January 1996, Tiangezhuang township was incorporated. As of October 2019, Beidian township has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in beixindian village. There are jinggangbo expressway, Baoheng road and tourist road running through the whole territory, adjacent to the entrance and exit of Jingshi Expressway.
