Qingping Street

Qingping street is located in Xinmi City, Henan Province. It extends to nongnongnong road in the East, Huifeng street in the east along Qingping street, Jingou village and Qinghe Village in Yuanzhuang Township in the north, Ping'an road in the west, Dongjie village and Xijie village in Chengguan town in the South and Wulidian village in Xinhua Road Street in the south, with a total area of 10.9 square kilometers. There are more than 100 administrative, public institutions and enterprises under the jurisdiction, such as the municipal Party committee and the municipal government. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Xinmi City.

Historical evolution

Before 1978, the south slope of Qingping mountain was Hanzhuang, zhoulou, Lianggou, yujiagang and other villages in Chengguan town of Mi County. After Hanzhuang was relocated in September 1979, the construction of the new county began. Now, it has become a demonstration area of the city center.

Qingping street was established in May 2001, which is under the jurisdiction of Lianggou village, Hanzhuang village, zhoulou village and yujiagang village. Qingping street is named as Qingping street because it is adjacent to Qingping mountain in the north and the main street of the city passes through the area from east to west.

Qingping Street governs 16 communities, including Songyang Road, Fengshi street, Qingping street, Baihua lane, Hanzhuang, Kaiyang Road, beiwenfeng street, Xingfu street, beimixin Road, Qingfeng Road, Fangzhai, Lianggou, zhoulou, yujiagang, Changle Road and square community.
