Jiuhu town

Jiuhu Town, subordinate to Zouping City, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwest of Zouping City, bordering sun town in the East, Mingji town in the south, Weiqiao town in the west, and Taizi town and heilizhai town in Gaoqing County of Zibo City across Xiaoqing River in the north and northwest. The area is 91 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 41684 households in nine towns had registered residence.

In 1966, it was incorporated into Sunzhen district. In 1968, nine communes were established. In 1984, it was changed into Jiuhu township. In December 1996, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Jiuhu town has 67 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.

By the end of 2018, there were 52 industrial enterprises in Jiuhu Town, including 3 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 47 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

The territory originally belonged to Qidong County.

In 1958, it was transferred to Zouping County to build nine communes.
