Zetou

Zetou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Wendeng District, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwest of Wendeng District, downstream of the sow River, facing Songcun town in the East, wuleidaowan in the south, Xiaoguan town in the southwest and Gejia town in the northwest. The administrative area is 114.63 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Ze town registered residence was 34736.

From February to July 1958, the district was withdrawn, and the townships were directly subordinate to the county and merged into Zetou township. In September of the same year, Liaoyuan commune was established. In 1959, it was changed into Zetou commune. In March 1984, the commune was withdrawn and Zetou town was established. As of June 2020, Zetou town has one community and 47 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Zetou village.

In 2011, the total revenue of Zetou town was 37.23 million yuan, including 13.74 million yuan of local revenue. In 2011, the total output value of agriculture reached 790 million yuan. In 2018, there were 64 industrial enterprises in Zetou Town, including 20 Enterprises above Designated Size and 21 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the late Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to four, five, six and eight li of Yingxian capital.

In 1930, it was divided into three towns: Zetou, Daoji, lincun and Xu's hometown.

In December 1941, it belonged to Hushan District of Wenxi County.

In September 1950, it belonged to the second and third districts of Kunyu county.

In 1956, it belonged to Hushan District of Wendeng County, with four townships of Zetou, lincun, Lidao and xiapo.

From February to July 1958, the district was withdrawn, and the townships were directly subordinate to the county and merged into Zetou township. In September of the same year, Liaoyuan commune was established.

In 1959, it was changed into Zetou commune.

In March 1984, Zetou town was established.

famous scenery

Dasongjia site is a provincial cultural relic protection unit, located 100 meters north of dasongjia village, Zetou town. It was discovered in 1982. With a total area of 26000 square meters, it is well preserved. The cultural accumulation layer is about 2.5 meters thick. The stone tools collected include stone axes, stone hammers, stone balls and stone sharpeners. The pottery includes tripod, pot, basin, bowl, urn, spinning wheel support and so on. Most of them are red pottery with sand. It belongs to the Neolithic period.

Hugezhuang site is located 50 meters behind Hugezhuang village in Zetou town. It was found in 1989. The total area is about 18000 square meters. The cultural accumulation is about 2 meters thick. The collected pottery includes the edge of basin mouth, the bottom of urn and the bottom of bowl.

Lincun site is located 50 meters northeast of lincun, Zetou town. It was found in 1989. The total area is 7800 square meters. The cultural accumulation is about 15 cm thick. The collected pottery includes fragments of tripod, handle, basin, urn and bowl, as well as a bronze coin. It belongs to the cultural type of Qin and Han Dynasties.

Xujia site is located 700 meters west of Xujia village, Zetou town. It was found in 1989. The total area is about 16000 square meters. There is no obvious cultural accumulation. The collected pottery includes the edge of the pot mouth, the residual bean plate, the tile, etc. most of them are muddy gray and black pottery. It belongs to the culture type of Han Dynasty.
