Duchang Street

Duchang street is a sub district office under the jurisdiction of Changyi City, Shandong Province. It is located in the main urban area of Changyi city and was established in December 1997. Duchang street is located in the central and western part of Changyi City, covering an area of 168 square kilometers. It governs 82 administrative villages, with a population of 99909 (in 2010), and a cultivated area of 113000 mu. (as of 2009)

Historical evolution

On July 4, 1997, Duchang town was abolished, and two sub district offices, kuiju and Duchang, were set up respectively (Note: kuiju sub district office was set up in the administrative region east of Beihai Road in former Duchang Town, and Duchang sub district office was set up in the administrative region west of Beihai Road in former Duchang town).
