Shanting economic development zone is a modern economic development zone approved by the people's Government of Zaozhuang City and approved by the provincial government in 2000. It is located in the west of the city, with a planned area of 20 square kilometers and a built-up area of 5.5 square kilometers. Since 2003, it has been rated as one of the "top ten economic parks" by Zaozhuang City for three consecutive years, and was approved as a provincial Economic Development Zone in March 2006.

Park Development

since its establishment in 2000, the development zone has always adhered to the development concept of "setting up the district by environment, prospering the district by projects, strengthening the district by science and technology, and building a harmonious and prosperous New District". It has always taken speeding up investment and construction, forming industrial clusters, and driving regional economic development as the goal, made high standard planning, comprehensively matched, and comprehensively optimized the software and hardware environment for investment and development, and initially formed a special papermaking and new building materials Textile and clothing, machinery manufacturing, electronics and chemical industry, food processing six pillar industries. A management committee is set up in the development zone to provide quality services such as "tie in" management, "one-stop" office and "one-stop" completion for projects entering the zone. Various preferential policies are implemented and all conveniences are created in terms of project approval, tax return and project supporting. Up to now, 53 industrial enterprises have settled in the Development Zone, of which 11 have more than 100 million yuan. The economic development zone has become a window for Shanting District to open to the outside world, a bright spot for urban construction, a platform for attracting investment and a gathering place for high-tech industries.
