Yuezhuang town

Yuezhuang Town, belonging to Yiyuan County, Zibo City, Shandong Province, is located in the east of Yiyuan County, bordering Linqu County in the East, Yanya town in the south, Lishan street in the West and nanlushan town in the north. The area is 165.24 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 60656 people registered residence.

In 1958, the two townships merged to form Yuezhuang commune. In 1965, it was changed into Yuezhuang district; in the same year, 16 villages of Shiqiao commune were assigned to Yuezhuang district. In 1971, it was restored to Yuezhuang commune. In 1972, when Shiqiao commune was restored, Shiqiao and other 16 villages were zoned back to Shiqiao. In 1884, Yuezhuang district was established. In 1985, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Yuezhuang town was established. In June 2020, Yuezhuang town governs 71 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 106 industrial enterprises in Yuezhuang Town, including 20 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 36 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1965, it was changed into Yuezhuang district; in the same year, 16 villages of Shiqiao commune were assigned to Yuezhuang district.

In 1971, it was restored to Yuezhuang commune.

Yinma River originates from yindongyu and shanghuashui in Yuezhuang town and flows into Yihe River from north to south. Xiaoshui river flows into Yi River. The two counties flow into Mi River in the East.
