Xiapu Street

Xiapu street is a street under the jurisdiction of Yuanzhou District, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. Located in the eastern suburb of Yichun City, only 3.8km away from the urban center of Yuanzhou District, it is one of the streets in the urban planning. The total area of the whole street area is 42.4 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 8 neighborhood committees, 116 resident groups, 15 rural stations and 475 private enterprises. Xiapu street has a total population of 23278 (in 2010), with a cultivated area of 16756 mu (including 15126 mu of paddy field and 1630 mu of dry land). It is the base of ten thousand mu of commercial grain and one thousand mu of commercial vegetable in Yuanzhou district. Aquaculture area is 1490 mu. The forest area is 18029 mu (including 7680 mu of Camellia oleifera forest, 7965 mu of timber forest, 1964 mu of other forest and 420 mu of orchard).
