Wushu town
Wushu Township, subordinate to Wan'an County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southeast of Wan'an County, adjacent to Jiantou town and Baoshan Township in the East, Jiantian Township in the south, Ganjiang River in the west, Wufeng Town, shaping town and TanQian Township across the river, and Furong Town in the North. It is the main reservoir township of Wan'an Hydropower department. With a total area of 124.54 square kilometers, Wushu township has jurisdiction over six administrative villages, one community and 65 villager groups in Longwei, daling, shetian, shaokeng, xinliao and Dadiao. In late 2018, the registered residence of martial arts township was 6395.
By the end of 2018, there were six industrial enterprises in Wushu Township, and one comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In July 1930, the Soviet government of Wushu township was established.
In August 1949, it belonged to six districts of Wan'an County; in August 1958, it was composed of Wushu, xinliao, dagiao, shetian, Daling and other high-level communes. In 1965, the two communes were merged into Wushu people's commune; in 1968, Baoshan commune was merged into Wushu commune; in 1972, it was separated from Baoshan and still called Wushu commune.
In March 1984, the establishment of Wushu township was restored, and the township was located in youcaoping village.
In 1988, the martial arts village was moved to Longwei village.

As of October 2019, Wushu countryside has jurisdiction over one community and six administrative villages: Xuzhen community, Longwei village, Daling village, shetian village, shaokeng village, xinliao village and dagiao village. Martial arts township is located in Longwei village.

The terrain of Wushu township is mountainous in the East and hilly in the West. Guanyinzhang, the highest peak in the territory, is 701.6 meters above sea level, while Tiankeng, the lowest point, is 83.2 meters above sea level.

Wushu Township belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate, which is characterized by obvious monsoon, four distinct seasons, rainy in spring and early summer, hot in midsummer and early autumn, cool in autumn, mild in winter, and abundant rainfall throughout the year.

The river course in Wuwu Township belongs to Ganjiang River Basin. The main river course is Wuwu River, which originates from Tianhu mountain, flows from east to southwest, and flows into Ganjiang River at Longwei village, with annual runoff of 110 million cubic meters.
