Zhonglong Township, subordinate to Taihe County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southeast of Taihe County. It is spread in the valley basin 48 km away from the county in the shape of palms. The Taihe Xiaolong highway winds through the county, covering an area of 98.38 square kilometers. It governs 8 Village Committees (including one She Minority Village), 62 villager groups, and has a permanent population of 5396 (2017), including 4 Han, she, Meng and Hui villages The main ethnic group is Han nationality. There are 12 Party branches and 266 party members in the township.

Zhonglong township has 5600 mu of cultivated land, including edible fungi, watermelon, peanut, ginger, buckwheat, medicinal materials, white lotus, etc., and 135000 mu of forest land, accounting for 95% of the total area. Zhonglong township is located in the southeast mountainous area of Taihe, upstream of Xiancha river. It is adjacent to Xiaolong town in the East, laoyingpan town and Shangdi town in the south, Guanxi town and Yuanqian town in the West and north respectively.
