BaiHuaZhou Street

BaiHuaZhou is located in the center of East Lake. The original three continents, two of which are in Bayi park. "BaiHuaZhou" is a poem recited by a writer in the Song Dynasty. During the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhang Cheng, the governor of Yuzhang, built the "Jiangwu hall" here to study the Shui army. In 1746, Peng Jiaping, the governor of Jiangxi, wrote the "BaiHuaZhou" stele. In the ten sceneries of Yuzhang, the two sceneries of "night moon on the East Lake" and "spring vegetables in the Su garden" are all here.

Development history

In 1949, it belonged to the administrative office of yangjiachang street, and in 1950 it belonged to the joint group of yangjiachang residents. In 1951, it set up BaiHuaZhou Street office, named after BaiHuaZhou. In 1953, it was called BaiHuaZhou and Donghu neighborhood committee. In 1954, it was merged into BaiHuaZhou street. In 1960, it was called BaiHuaZhou commune. In 1979, it was called BaiHuaZhou street again. It is located in the central and southern part of the District, with Zhongshan Road, Xiangshan North Road, Minde Road, Yuanming North Road and other main roads running through the territory. Scenic spots and historic sites include the former site of August 1 Uprising headquarters, August 1 Park, South Lake xinghualou, etc. In 1997, it covers an area of 0.6 square kilometers and has a population of 22000. It has 17 neighborhood committees, including BaiHuaZhou Road, liujiangjun temple, maojiayuan, Wanjing lane, Dashun lane, baochicang, huoshentemple, Zhonggulou, zhuangyuanqiao, nanhu road, Xiaogong temple, Yuanming North Road, Cifu lane, grape trellis, frozen rice factory, provincial water planning and Design Institute and Municipal Post Office.
