Fengdu town
Fengdu Town, subordinate to Gutian County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the west of Gutian County, bounded by Nanping and Jianou in the west, Songji in the south, and Fengpu in the north. The township is located in Shuangzhu, 16 kilometers away from the county. The area is 164.27 square kilometers.
In 2019, Fengdu town has 17 administrative villages: Fengdu village, Yangtou village, Taoyuan Village, Jimian village, Xinjian village, Shuangzhu village, Xitou village, Wanchang village, Dongcun village, Cunwei village, Xiaoji village, meiyang village, Shangping village, Shikeng village, Shifeng village, Shangdi village and CHANGKENG village. In 2018, the registered residence population of Fengdu town was 26531.
In 2018, the GDP of Fengdu town was 1.247 billion yuan, an increase of 5.4%; the total industrial output value was 186 million yuan, an increase of 5.2%; the per capita net income of farmers was 16464 yuan, an increase of 7.1%.
Historical evolution
In Song Dynasty, it belonged to Hepingli, Jiandong township.
From Yuan Dynasty to Ming Dynasty, it belonged to the five capitals of Jiandong township.
Qing Dynasty belongs to the five capitals of Xixiang.
During the period of the Republic of China, it was changed into Fengshi Township, the fourth district.
In the early days of liberation, it belonged to the fourth district. In 1955, it was changed into Fengdu district. In February of the next year, it was merged into the district under the Bureau. In 1958, Fengdu people's commune was established. In October 1984, it was changed into Fengdu township.
On December 7, 1991, the township was demolished to build a town and Fengdu town was established.

People's life
In 2018, the participation rates of social endowment insurance and basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents in Fengdu town reached 91% and 82.68% respectively. Fengdu Town Cultural Service Center was renovated. One activity center for the elderly will be built and two will be rebuilt. 139 people received medical assistance, temporary assistance and assistance for orphans and needy children, and 63600 yuan of assistance funds were distributed. The renovation of 35 dilapidated houses was carried out.

History and culture
Fengdu town is an old revolutionary base. During the second Civil Revolutionary War, the Minbei independent division of the red army moved to Houxi, Banshan, Liuku and Shikeng. From the end of the 35th year of the Republic of China (1946) to the beginning of the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China held meetings in Jimian, Liuku, Banshan, Xiaolu and other places to carry out guerrilla warfare.
