Shima Street

Shima street is located in the lower reaches of Jiulongjiang River in Southeast Fujian Province. It is the seat of Longhai district government of Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. It borders Shanhou community of Haicheng Town in the East, Bangshan town and Haicheng Town in the south, pingning village of Bangshan town in the west, and Zini town across Jiangnan Port (Jinjiang) in Kowloon in the north. In August 2003, Shima town was abolished and Shima street with an area of 5.26 square kilometers was established, with a total number of 18271 households, The total population is 66735.

Shimajie is one of the "four famous towns" in Fujian Province. It has won the honorary titles of "national civilized town" and "national ecological town".

Original name

The original name of the stone code was "Shixi". During the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty (1426-1435 AD), it was the place where villagers competed for the gold medal, so it was also called "Jinjiang". In the first year of Hongzhi (1488 AD), jinjiangbu was set up. In the early Jiajing period (1522 AD), it belonged to the eleven capitals of Longxi. To build "Shima town" (according to huienli, Shi'an Township in the Song Dynasty, the 11th capital) was first built by local people (i.e. local people) who used the land along the river as the impact of the sea tide. In order to strengthen the embankment, they built 12 stone dams along the river to reduce the direct impact of the sea tide on the embankment, so it was renamed "Shima". Lin Shizhang, the Minister of rites, set up a city in Shima, compiled a thousand character document department number, and divided the upper and lower codes. (Lin Shizhang, a "Chong" from Zhangpu, was a minister of rites in Jiajing. He died at the age of 77. During the Wanli period (1577-1620 AD), Dai Yaofu, the Minister of the Ministry of war, moved to the new city to "lushenbutou" (Dai Yao was named Dehui, a native of Changtai, a Jinshi of Wuchen in Longqing, and the official to Da Sima, the Minister of the Ministry of war). Since then, the traffic is frequent, and the population of residents is increasing rapidly. In the first month of the ninth year of Shunzhi (1652 AD), Zheng Chenggong marched into Zhangzhou on a large scale, and Shima was just right. In the September of the 18th year (1661 AD), the Qing government ordered the coastal residents to move in, and the town became waste soil. First, the magistrate Fang Xingye surrendered to Zheng Chenggong, and then fled back to make his younger brother judge Fang Xingyao and report to his superior: "the pirates (Zheng Chenggong) all pay by the sea, empty their land, and move the residents. If they are not allowed to go to the sea, the pirates will have no food and escape." Since then, the local residents along the coast have been ordered to move and garrison them.

The extreme high temperature of shimajie is 40.9 degrees (July 26, 2003), the extreme low temperature is - 0.2 degrees (January 27, 1963), the maximum precipitation at the extreme end is 2187.1mm (1997), and the minimum precipitation is 897.3mm (1966).
