Xiongjiang town

Xiongjiang Town, subordinate to Minqing County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, is located in the northwest of Minqing County, 22 kilometers away from the county. It is a key reservoir town of Shuikou Hydropower Station.

Xiongjiang town covers an area of 111 square kilometers, including 11780 mu of cultivated land, 142661 mu of forest land and 8400 mu of water area. It has a total population of 6301 people, 12 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee.

In 2006, the total industrial and agricultural output value of Xiongjiang town was 103.59 million yuan, including 28 million yuan of industrial output value, 75.59 million yuan of agricultural output value, 1.06 million yuan of fiscal revenue, and 4164 yuan of rural per capita net income.
