On March 1, 2018, with the approval of the people's Government of Hebei Province, Linzhang County, where Yecheng Santai site is located, cancelled xiangcaiying township of Linzhang county and officially established Yecheng town of Linzhang county.

Linzhang county was known as "Ye" in ancient times. The famous Yecheng Santai site is located in yuancaiying township of Linzhang county. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Cao Cao occupied Yecheng, built the capital of Ye, and built the famous tongquetai, jinfengtai and bingjingtai. It is not only the birthplace of Jian'an literature, but also the birthplace of wizard Guiguzi, and the birthplace of ximenbao's investment in wuzhiye. In recent years, relying on the rich cultural resources of Yecheng, the local government has built Yecheng Museum, Guiguzi Cultural Park, ximenbao Cultural Industrial Park, yedU Cultural Creative Park and other cultural industry projects to enhance the strength of the cultural industry and attract hundreds of thousands of tourists from home and abroad every year. In particular, Handan idiom and allusion theme park, a key provincial cultural project with an investment of 1 billion yuan, has been settled, and Yecheng Archaeological Park with an investment of more than 6 billion yuan is about to be built. The formal establishment of Yecheng town in Linzhang county is conducive to further promoting the development of local cultural tourism industry, marking a new development period of Yecheng cultural tourism industrialization.
