Youhua town

Youhua township is subordinate to Qingyang County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province. The township government is located in Yangjia village, 15 kilometers east of the county. Youhua township has eight villagers' committees, namely songchong, tianwu, Leyuan, Jinfeng, Huaan, Eryou, Chaohua and Shi'an. Youhua township is surrounded by mountains, with chongfan in the middle.

The agriculture of Youhua township is dominated by rice, followed by sericulture, tea, oil, wheat and Cortex Moutan, and the forestry has 12 rural forest farms, which are rich in bamboo and wood resources.

Youhua township is very rich in local resources, underground mineral deposits all over the country, including limestone, calcite has been exploited; molybdenum, tungsten, antimony, copper, gold and other precious minerals; there are still a large number of mines have not been excavated. Youhua township has a long history. Its name was changed several times. It was called 24 capitals in ancient times. Before liberation, it was called binyin Township, commonly known as qingyangbei township. During the Anti Japanese War and the war of liberation, it was a guerrilla base of Jing (county), Qing (Yang) and Nan (Ling). It was located 20 kilometers north of Qingyang County and was the junction of Jing, Qing and Nan counties. National Highway 318 traverses the territory, 50 km from Tongling port in the north, 60 km from Chizhou City in the West and 100 km from Wuhu City in the East, so the traffic is very convenient. Known for its rich mineral resources, large forestry, strong sericulture and agricultural characteristics.

In 2017, the administrative area of Youhua town was 11770 hectares, with a permanent population of 11023.

Youhua mountain has good water and is pregnant with generations of excellent children. Most of them are celebrities in history. For example, Zhang Yunxian, a native of Shi'an, was a "Jinshi" in the middle of 1529. He took the examination of Yakui and wrote Jianyi Ji and Jiuhuashan poetry anthology. Shuangchong people, Zhu Feng and others have entered the ranks of doctoral students. Religion has a long history in Youhua township. "Catholicism" was introduced into the territory in 1876. At that time, there was a "Catholicism" office in Leyuan village, which stopped its activities after liberation and disappeared naturally. "Taoism" had a more profound root. Before liberation, there were "Taoists" and "Taoist nuns" in Huaan village and Shuangchong Village. They often watched geomantic omen, did Buddhism, built houses and buried tombs for the local people. The spread of Buddhism is also far-reaching. There were many temples in the territory. There are "Qingyuan Temple" in Jinfeng Village; there are temple sites in Leyuan village, including a well beside the big temple (named after the temple) and an Anji on Xiangjia mountain. During the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, hundreds of monks were destroyed in the cave by the Taiping army. There are many Buddhists in Youhua Township, and every year there are good men and women who burn incense and worship Buddha in the mountain. Before liberation, the Wu family in Yueyuan Village Garden held a "hundred children's meeting" (organized by nearly 100 people and organized by "Xiangtou" and "Xiangwei"). Christianity was introduced into Youhua in 1983, with many believers, but few of them had participated in the baptism.
