Dashe town is located in the north of Fengfeng mining area, Handan City, Hebei Province. Han (Dan) Feng (Feng) highway, Feng (Feng) Wu (an) highway transit.

The town government is located in Dashe village. It covers an area of 41.13 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 42571 (2017). It has jurisdiction over 5 communities and 17 administrative villages. There are Shuiyu temple, Huanggu temple and wusheng temple.

Evolution of organizational system

It was founded in 1958, changed to Dashe Township in 1981, and changed to town in 1984. In 1996, Xiangshan town was incorporated. In 1997, it governed 17 administrative villages, including Dashe, Xiezhuang, Nanwang, Xuecun, Zhuangli, Nangang, sihoupo, Yanting, Niuerzhuang, Nanyang, Beiyang, Zhangzhuang, Xiangshan, Xitun, dongtun, zuocheng and Mowu.

There was a temple "Dage Temple" near the original Dashe town. After the Ming Dynasty, villages were gradually built around the temple, which was named "Dage" and later evolved into "Dashe". The core protected area of Dashe town is 7.13 hectares, with a historical building area of 38200 square meters. there are many existing traditional dwellings in the town, of which the courtyard of he family is a typical representative. The architectural design of the courtyard is very elegant. From Yongdao to the west, turn left to the west gate, and the East and West buildings are Taiji distributed. The main hall courtyard is in the anode position, and the courtyard of he family is a fully enclosed Castle type building group, which has a strong defensive role and a strong cultural atmosphere. Xiaoxiangtang Grottoes in the town area are important Buddhist relics left by the Xianbei nationality in the Northern Qi Dynasty. In 1961, it was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relic protection unit, as well as canglongshan grottoes, huanggu'an grottoes, Shuiyu Temple grottoes and other provincial key cultural relic protection units.
