Damiao market town

Damiaoji Town, belonging to Taihe County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is located in the northwest of Taihe County. It is adjacent to Lixing town in the north, Caimiao town in the south, zhaomiao town in the East, and pugou in the east of Xinmaji town in Jieshou City in the West. Taidan Road, an important County Road, runs through the whole area, so the traffic is very convenient. The permanent population is 48637 (2017), with an area of 50.55 square kilometers and 51335 mu of arable land. The main agricultural production is wheat, corn and other food crops, and the main economic crops are greenhouse vegetables, red taro, traditional Chinese medicine village, etc.

In 2007, the gross national product of the town was 325 million yuan, the proportion of primary, secondary and tertiary industries was 3:1:6 respectively, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3517 yuan.
