Tanpeng Town, belonging to Linquan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is the "East Gate" of Linquan county. It is located at the junction of two counties, one city and one district. It is 25 km away from Linquan County in the west, 30 km away from Fuyang City in the East, bordered by jiulonggou in the East, Jiulong Town of Yingzhou District, Gaotang Township in the south, Yangqiao town in the west, and daiqiao town of Jieshou City in the north. Line S102 traverses its territory with convenient transportation.

Historical evolution

Tan Peng established a commune in 1958 and changed to a township in 1983. In the spring of 1992, Tan Peng town was established from three townships of Tan Peng, Wang Zhai and Chen Ying. The town has 28 villager committees, 204 natural villages and 369 villager groups. The town government is located in Wangzhai Road, tanpeng village. The cultivated area is 60900 mu.

Economic overview

Tanpeng town is a typical agricultural town. After the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, the town has always been in the forefront of the county. Focusing on the agricultural efficiency and farmers' income, the town Party committee and government have formed their own characteristic demonstration bases based on the advantages of each village. The first is to focus on Jizhuang, Zhangying, Yunzhuang and other villages, promote high-quality wheat Zhengmai 9023 and Neixiang 188, and establish 30000 mu of core high-yield key fields with complete facilities and comprehensive supporting facilities; the second is 3800 mu of off-season vegetable planting base with Jizhuang Caomiao and guodaning Xiaozhuang as the leaders. The main products of vegetable production in Jizhuang are the extended autumn vegetables; the third is the mushroom planting demonstration base with the characteristics of Baixing, Hanying and LiuYao. In 2004, we cooperated with Fuyang Tongchuang company to develop the production of Agaricus bisporus in this town. There are 32 households planting Agaricus bisporus in this town, including more than 10 large producers, covering an area of more than 200 mu. The yield per mu is 10 times that of traditional food crops. In 2005, Fuyang Weilong Technology Development Co., Ltd. was introduced to invest 18 million yuan in the construction of Agaricus bisporus production base, with 600 elevated sheds, covering an area of 1000 mu. This "strategic" investment will not only enlarge and strengthen the characteristic agriculture, but also accelerate the development of circular economy in the town.

Since the establishment of the town, in line with the overall layout of "road shade, ditch pond forest greening, village manor forest, farmland forest network", we have strengthened forestry production and actively promoted the construction of ecological villages and towns. In recent years, the town has planted more than 100000 trees annually, and the forest coverage rate has increased to 23%, ranking first in the county, thus creating a famous brand of provincial ecological demonstration town.
