Guandian town

Guandian Town, belonging to Mingguang City, Anhui Province, is located in the south of Mingguang City. In history, it was called Guandian because of its surname. In 1999, it was named as the central town by the provincial government, and in 2004, it was named as the national key town by the Ministry of construction. In 2005, the overall planning of the town was completed by Anhui provincial urban planning and Design Institute, and passed the expert review organized by the Provincial Department of construction. In July 2005, the planning was approved by Mingguang Municipal People's government for implementation. The town is rich in non-metallic mineral resources. According to the survey, there are 120 million cubic meters of granite ore in the southwest of the town. The rock body is about 20 kilometers from north to south, 2-5 kilometers from east to west, with an exposed area of 42.5 square kilometers. The D-grade reserves are 19.178 million cubic meters. It is a high-quality material for roads, bridges and housing construction, and has great mining value. Guandian yellow sand belongs to sedimentary river sand with good sand quality. There are about 8 million tons of yellow sand in the riverbed of more than 10 km from below Lindong reservoir to Xisha River. The gold reserve is about 2 tons after preliminary exploration. there is a gold mine near shangchencun formation, Luoling village, neizhen, with proven reserves of about 2.7 tons and prospective reserves of about 5 tons. It is a national medium-sized gold mine.

Forest resources

Guandian forest farm has 220000 mu of black pine, masson pine, Cunninghamia lanceolata, miscellaneous trees and other forest resources. It has been thinning since 1986, with an annual cutting volume of 10000 cubic meters.

tourist resources

The Lindong reservoir (Qifeng Lake) and the forestry center in Guandian town have great potential for tourism development. Qifeng lake is 4.5km away from the town, 500m away from national highway 104, and only 10km away from Mingguang City. It has a catchment area of 57.3km2, a reservoir capacity of 63.83million cubic meters, a circumference of 60km, surrounded by mountains and lush trees. It can be used to build a tourist area integrating leisure, vacation and entertainment. Guandian forest farm is located 1 km southeast of Guandian Town, with green mountains and green waters everywhere. According to the new land law, there are 126798.1 mu of usable land in the town: 102218.7 mu of agricultural land, accounting for 80.6%, 10155.4 mu of construction land, accounting for 8%, and 14424 mu of unused land, accounting for 11.4%. Guandian town has a medium-sized reservoir (Lindong reservoir), with a water storage capacity of 63.83 million cubic meters; five small reservoirs, with a water storage capacity of 770000 cubic meters; 530 Mu ponds and dams, with a water storage capacity of 2.43 million cubic meters; five electromechanical stations, with a power of 142 kilowatts; eight channels, with a total length of 36 kilometers.
