Anhui Dingyuan Salt Chemical Industrial Park is the only provincial industrial park in Anhui Province with the characteristics of salt chemical industry. The park is located in Luqiao Town, Dingyuan County, adjacent to Hefei in the south, Huainan in the West and Bengbu in the north, with superior geographical location and convenient transportation. Huainan railway line has third-class station and special railway line in Luqiao town. Highways extend in all directions, provincial highway s311 and Jingfu Expressway pass through. The total planning area of the park is 33.8 square kilometers, and the recent planning area approved by Anhui Province is controlled by 13.6 square kilometers. In May 2012, the park was listed as one of the three major chemical bases in Anhui Province by Anhui provincial government, and the total planning area of the base will be expanded to 104 square kilometers.

Development status

In 2006, a salt chemical project with a total investment of 16 billion yuan was officially signed and settled in Dingyuan Salt Chemical Industrial Park, Anhui Province. The project has an annual output of 800000 tons of caustic soda, 1.4 million tons of calcium carbide, 1 million tons of PVC and 2.5 million tons of cement. The project is divided into two phases, of which the first phase has been fully started in March 2010 and is planned to be completed and put into operation in August 2011. After the project is completed and put into operation, more than 8 billion yuan of sales revenue and 1.5 billion yuan of tax revenue can be realized every year. In addition, Anhui Quansheng Chemical Co., Ltd. has invested 4.8 billion yuan in the construction of Dingyuan Salt Chemical Industrial Park, Anhui Province, with an annual output of 1 million tons of soda ash and related supporting projects officially launched. A large number of upstream and downstream enterprises matching with salt chemical projects are speeding up to settle in Dingyuan Salt Chemical Industrial Park, Anhui Province. the park plans to achieve an output value of 30 billion yuan by 2015, 50 billion yuan by 2020 and 100 billion yuan by 2030.

Wang debing, deputy director of the Management Committee of Yanhua Industrial Park, presided over the commencement ceremony. At the ceremony, the principal of Anhui MEIBANG Resin Technology Co., Ltd. introduced the basic situation of the company. The project has an annual output of 4600 tons of safety glass intermediate film and 3400 tons of high viscosity polyethylene butyraldehyde resin, 60 mu of construction land, a total investment of 188.85 million yuan, and a construction period of 24 months. After the completion of the project, it can achieve an average annual sales revenue of 182.48 million yuan, an average annual total profit of 38.29 million yuan, an average annual tax of 9.57 million yuan, solve more than 100 local employment, and have good economic and social benefits.
