Stevia production has begun to take shape. Hongxing, dawn and other villages raise 150 mu of seedlings. History and culture

The town has a long history and outstanding people. Dawn was the fiefdom of princes in the Han Dynasty. Three kilometers northwest of it, there are many ancient tombs. Ming Dynasty towers stand at the foot of Daheng mountain. The "dawn" farm established after the liberation is one of the only two farms in Anhui Province. The name of the township has been changed and has been used up to now. In particular, during the "three years of natural disasters", dawn farm was famous for providing relief to countless foreign victims. Dawn's special dishes, daylily, wild garlic and wild fruit also attract a large number of city residents to visit the countryside.

The production of granite plate has a good development prospect and economic value. Our township is rich in granite resources. According to the survey, there is a strip of 3 km long and 1 km wide from houliu villager group to Nanfeng villager group in Zhuangyang village. The buried depth is shallow, the average thickness is more than 10 meters, and the reserves are more than 1 million cubic meters. The granite has bright color, uniform grain, clear pattern, sesame white, sesame flower, dark black and other colors. According to the test report of Nanjing comprehensive rock and mineral testing center of the Ministry of Geology and mineral resources and the appraisal report of Anhui Geological Experimental Research Institute, the uniaxial compressive strength (MPA) is 9ya, and the Morse gengdu is 5.5-6. Under the microscope, quartz is 30%, potash feldspar is 35%, plagioclase is 25%, amphibole and biotite are 5%, apatite, phosphorite and hydromica are 2%, which are ideal natural materials for processing granite plate.
