Huikou town
Huikou town is under the jurisdiction of Susong County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is not only a key town in China, but also the center of local county economy. It undertakes the task of accelerating the process of urbanization and driving the development of surrounding rural areas.

Historical evolution
Huikou has a long history and culture. It was built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and was called "sangluozhou" in ancient times. It enjoys the reputation of "hometown of calligraphy" and "hometown of poetry". With prominent location advantages and convenient land and water transportation, it is one of the main roads from Anhui to Hubei and Jiangxi, and an important node connecting Susong with Wuhan metropolitan area, Changjiu industrial corridor and Poyang Lake ecological zone. Market towns are active in commerce and trade, and have been the "thoroughfare of three provinces" since ancient times. It is a beautiful town in Anhui Province with excellent ecology, livable and suitable for business.

Huikou community is located in the southwest border of Anhui Province at the junction of Anhui, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces. It is named Huikou because of the confluence of Poyang Lake, the mainstream tributary of the Yangtze River. Babin highway and the soon to be built anjiu highway pass through the community with convenient waterway transportation. The community has 24 villager groups, 1043 households, more than 4000 agricultural population, 5127 mu of arable land and 4.7 square kilometers of land. The community is located on the market town, with more than 500 employees engaged in business, enterprises and other units. Tongma community is located in the market town of Huikou Town, adjacent to Sanzhou village in the East, Yangtze River in the south, Longtan Village in the West and Luodu village in Zhoutou Township in the north, covering an area of about 1.7 square kilometers. There are more than 780 permanent residents, with a population of nearly 3100 and a cultivated area of more than 3600 mu. There are 54 formal party members in the community and 6 in-service party members. The neighborhood committee has eight resident groups. The community was established in August 2005 and was formed by the merger of Guiying village and yangshe village in May 2004. Tongma community has 512 square meters of office service room, with collective office, police room, library, reference room, family planning service room, conference room, whole process agent for people, etc. Xihu village is a combination of Chengxi village, Huixi village and Binhu village. It has seven villager groups with a population of 1780 and a cultivated area of 5420 mu. Caohu village, located at the junction of Anhui, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces, is a village close to Hubei Province in Huikou town. It has a population of 5560. It has 14 villager groups under its jurisdiction. From the original Lu Xu Cao lake and Guilin three villages merged. Caohu village has 8201 mu of cultivated land, mainly for planting cotton. It is a high-quality cotton production base in Huikou town. Chengying village is a combination of Chengying village and ChenWan village. It is located in Chengying market town. It has 27 villager groups with a population of 3664 and a cultivated area of 3278 mu. The main agricultural production is cotton planting, with an area of more than 3000 mu and an annual output value of more than 5 million yuan. Chengying village is a demonstration village of "one thousand villages and one hundred towns" for new rural construction in Anhui Province. The newly built Kangju village has begun to take shape. Kanggong village is the largest village in Huikou Town, bordering Caohu village in the West and Chengying village in the East. It is a combination of the original Daideng village, Paiwan village and zhengwan village. Kanggong village, with a population of 6222, has 49 villager groups and 1552 households, with a cultivated land area of 7896 mu. It is a major cotton producing village in Huikou town. ZhangYue village is a combination of yuannitang, Sangluo and ZhangYue villages. It borders wangba village of Zhoutou Township in the East and Kanggong village in the West. It has 35 villager groups, 1254 households, a population of 4782, with a cultivated land area of 6947 mu. Tuanjie village is located in the northeast of Huikou Town, bordering Zongying village of Zhoutou township. It has 19 villager groups with a total population of 2834. Tuanjie village is a large agricultural village with 3270 mu of cultivated land. Cotton planting is the main industry, with an annual output value of 9.9 million yuan. Sanxing village is located in the northeast of Huikou Town, bordering on Zongying village of Zhoutou Township, with a cultivated area of 8341 Mu and a population of 6012. It has 18 villager groups with a total number of 1508 households. Sanxing village is a large agricultural village, mainly planting cotton, with an annual output of 2490 tons of high-quality cotton. Longtan Village is located in the west of Huikou Town, adjacent to Huikou market town in the East and Chengying village in the West. Longtan Village is a combination of Zhudeng village and zhangdeng village, with a total population of 5048. It has 34 villager groups, with a cultivated area of 6321 mu. It is mainly planted with cotton, with an annual output of more than 600 tons of high-quality lint. Tan Village is located next to Huikou market town, with convenient transportation. Babin highway runs through the village. Sanzhou village is located in yongtianwei. The villagers are mainly immigrants from Zongyang, Tongcheng, with a population of 3879. There are 13 villager groups, with a cultivated area of 5623 mu, mainly planting cotton.
Economic overview
Huikou has developed economy and harmonious society. Here fertile land, is the national high-quality cotton, rape production base. The area suitable for forestry is large, and the water surface available for cultivation is large. The development of forestry, animal husbandry and fishery is rapid.
Industry
The leading position of industry is prominent, and the industrial cluster with cotton as the industrial chain has initially formed. Cotton processing, cotton spinning and clothing, oil processing and other industries are developed, while electronics, shipbuilding, freight, real estate and other industries are rising. In 2010, the GDP was 863 million yuan, the fiscal revenue was 10.6253 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 5500 yuan, and the balance of savings deposits was 290 million yuan.
Agriculture
Huikou town is a big agricultural town, rich in cotton, rape, sesame, soybean, corn, potato and so on. It produces more than 5000 tons of high-quality cotton every year. It is a national high-quality cotton export base, with 2000 kg of rape and 600000 kg of corn, soybean, sesame and potato. Huikou national agricultural comprehensive development phase II irrigation project has been completed and passed the acceptance, greatly improving the ability of agricultural disaster resistance and harvest. Huikou town has a vegetable base of more than 20000 mu. The products of "Sanzhou pepper, garlic and big cabbage" have been sold to 12 provinces and cities in China. The vegetable trade is very prosperous and well-known. Huikou town is rich in aquatic resources, with an annual output of more than 2000 tons of fish, shrimp, river crab and other aquatic products. The breeding industry is booming, with more than 30000 pigs, cattle and sheep per year, and 1.5 million chickens, ducks and geese per year. Huikou is rich in forestable land. Due to the reinforcement of the Yangtze River levee and the development and transformation of the lake area, tens of thousands of mu of forestable wasteland can be developed and utilized. Yiyang, fir, apple, citrus, jujube, sericulture and other planting industries have a certain scale. this area is rich in soil, abundant in rainfall, suitable for light, drought and flood, and many crops are suitable for planting. The specific crop arrangement of local farming is: planting cotton, corn, soybean, watermelon and vegetables in spring and summer; planting rape, wheat, broad bean and pea in autumn and winter. The cotton planting area is maintained at about 50000 Mu throughout the year, and the seed cotton yield per unit area is maintained at the level of 550 Jin. Susong County, represented by the local people, is one of the top 100 cotton production counties in China. The planting area of corn is 5000-10000 mu, and all the hybrid varieties are planted, with dry seed yield of 1000-1200 Jin / mu; soybean yield of 5000 mu, with dry seed yield of 400-500 Jin / mu; watermelon yield of 500-1000 mu, with dry seed yield of 8000-10000 Jin / mu. Vegetables are mainly cultivated in protected field and off season. It mainly grows capsicum, about 1000 mu. Its products are mainly supplied to Nanchang, Jiujiang, Wuhan and other large and medium-sized cities. In autumn, rape is mainly planted, covering an area of about 55000 mu. Hybrid varieties are mainly planted, with a yield of 300-400 Jin / mu; wheat is about 5000 mu, with a yield of less than 200 Jin / mu; broad beans are planted sporadically.

Huikou is located in the alluvial plain of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. The terrain is flat, the general trend is high in the West and low in the East, and inclines from south to north. The soil structure is mainly calcareous fluvo aquic soil, with geological partial sand, organic matter content of 1.15-1.19%, total nitrogen content of 0.079-0.095%, available phosphorus content of 4-5ppm, available potassium content of 44-57ppm, and the soil is slightly alkaline. The soil is loose, with night tide, and easy to cultivate. The town has 65000 mu of cultivated land with a population of 49800 and a per capita cultivated land of 1.32 mu.
