Bantang Street

Bantang street belongs to Chaohu City, Hefei City, Anhui Province, which is located in the northeast of Chaocheng and the south foot of Tangshan. With a total area of 677.34 square kilometers, it has 6 village committees and 3 community neighborhood committees, with a total population of 42606 (including tangbianshan village, which originally belonged to Qingxi Town, Hanshan county).

Bantang street was originally a township system (Bantang town), which was converted into Bantang street in May 2004. In June 2006, the reorganization system was transferred to Chaohu Economic Development Zone for unified management.

Evolution of organizational system

Bantang township was established in 1949, commune was established in 1958, township was changed in 1983, and town was changed in 1985. In 1996, it covers an area of 45.3 square kilometers and has a population of 14000. It has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages and Bantang neighborhood committees, including Bantang, Tangshan, Lisi, Xishan, prewar, langzhang and Gushan. In 2004, Bantang town was abolished and Bantang street was established, with jurisdiction over 4 neighborhood committees and 5 administrative villages.

In 2006, two villager groups of tangbianshan administrative village and Sanxing administrative village in Qingxi Town of Hanshan County, namely Zhaozhuang and shiluobao, and four villager groups of Jinglin administrative village, namely Xincun, linzhuang, Fangzhuang and jingaozheng, were put under the jurisdiction of Bantang street; six villager groups, namely Zhaozhuang, shiluobao, Xincun, linzhuang, Fangzhuang and jingaozheng, were incorporated into tangbianshan administrative village; after adjustment, Bantang street has jurisdiction over Wenquan and Ganzhou There are three neighborhood committees in Zhangshan and Xishan, and six administrative villages in Bantang, prewar, Tangshan, Lisi, Gushan and tangbianshan, with an area of 56 square kilometers and a population of 30500.
