Fangmiao Street

Fangmiao street is located in Yaohai District, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is located in the northeast corner of the new station experimental area, reaching Yaohai Industrial Park in the East, Linquan Middle Road community committee of Changhuai street in the west, Qilitang town and 20buhe in the north, Chengdong street of Yaohai District in the South, and Hefei new railway station and Hefei bus terminal in the northwest.

It covers a total area of 6 square kilometers, governs 8 communities and has a total population of 57578 (2010). The first ring road, the Second Ring Road, Linquan Road, Tongling North Road and Dangtu Road run through it.

history

In September 2001, with the approval of Hefei Municipal People's government, Yaohai street in the former suburb was divided into two parts, Fangmiao street and Yaohai street, which were managed by Xinzhan experimental area.

Regionalization

In January 2004, the Management Committee of the new station experimental zone approved the establishment of Anhui big market and Wanlvyuan, and the Fangmiao community committee was renamed Yaodong community committee at the same time. The street now governs six community residents committees: Wangtang, Yaodong, Anhui big market, Wanlvyuan, Xiangjiang and Shangri La. in 2020, the original Tianhui community of Fangmiao Street will be renamed Qinghe community, Senhai community and Anhui big market community will be abolished, and houhoumiao Street will be adjusted to have jurisdiction over six communities: Wangtang, zhantang, Wanlvyuan, Qinghe, Shangri La and Xiangjiang Jiayuan.

Economics

Fangmiao street, led by commerce and trade, has driven the common development of goods transportation, passenger transport, catering, hotels, telecommunications, advertising information, architectural decoration, real estate and other industries. It is a new business district, commercial and residential district in Hefei, and one of the larger logistics and storage centers in Hefei. Anhui International Automobile City, Anhui motorcycle accessories city, hardware wire and cable market, Yaohai Furniture world, Hefei Feijian chemical plant, Hefei newspaper group and the market flagship in East China, Anhui private trade pilot zone Anhui market is located in the area.
