Shafan Township

Shafan township is adjacent to ruoyang in the East, Wuyi in the south, Shankeng Township in the West and Langya town in the north. Zhoucun village, where the township government is located, is more than 50 kilometers away from Jinhua City. Wucheng District is a mountainous Township with the widest administrative area, with 180.37 square kilometers (2017), 32 administrative villages and 7978 people (2017). In 1937, the Red Army advancing division led by general Su Yu carried out armed struggle in the Yinkeng area of Shafan township. Now it has an underground command room and a Red Army reorganization office. In 1987, it was named the old revolutionary base area by the provincial people's government.
