Shangshu Township

Shangshu township is a township under the jurisdiction of Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in Anji County, Zhuxiang County, China. It is located in the north of Hangjiahu Plain and between Hangxiao highway at the foot of Tianmu Mountain. It is 18 kilometers away from Tianhuangping Pumped Storage Power Station, the second largest in the world and Asia. It is 70 kilometers away from Hangzhou and more than 200 kilometers away from Shanghai and Nanjing. It is connected by expressways and first-class highways and can drive for 2.5 hours arrive.

The township has an area of 75.5 square kilometers (2017), 12 administrative villages with a population of 13987 (2017), 9500 mu of cultivated land, 100000 mu of mountain forest, including 40000 mu of Phyllostachys pubescens forest.

Shangshu township government is located in Shangshu village. In 2005, there were 36 staff in the unit, including 27 civil servants, 9 institutions, 13 cadres under 35 years old and 8 cadres over 50 years old. There are eight offices under the unit, which work together as "three centers and one station".

Shangshu township of Anji county is located in the northwest of Zhejiang Province. The regional terrain is mountainous and semi mountainous. The terrain is high in the South and low in the north. Among the cultivated land, Luocun, Tianlong, Shangshu and other villages have more usable areas, about 1000 mu, 1200 Mu and 800 Mu respectively. In 2010, more than 2000 mu of high-quality selenium rich rice and 1500 mu of selenium rich bamboo shoots were developed and planted, which achieved the maturity of selenium rich rice production technology, produced brand effect of a series of agricultural products, and created a selenium rich town.

Economic situation

Industrial economy: in 2004, the total output value of enterprises with a scale of more than 5 million yuan reached 53.55 million yuan, accounting for 101% of the county's plan, the industrial added value was 14.01 million yuan, and the profits and taxes were 6.86 million yuan, accounting for 100% of the plan. Enterprises in the township realized profits and taxes of 12.9 million yuan, an increase of 16%, 26.16 million yuan for technological transformation, and 6 new provincial products.

Agricultural economy: in 2004, the agricultural output value reached 54.6 million yuan, an increase of 7.9%, and the per capita income of farmers reached 5648 yuan, an increase of 10.2% over 2003.

The financial and tax revenue is 3.2 million yuan.

Ecological construction

The ecological construction of Shangshu township is developing healthily. In 2005, under the strategic background of "ecological county" proposed by the county Party committee and government, Shangshu Township implemented a series of substantive measures to build an Ecological Harmonious Shangshu and develop ecological economy.

In 2005, the household wetland treatment project of liujiatang domestic sewage has broken the ground; the centralized sewage pipe network collection project of Shangshu village has been started; the river regulation work of Longwang village ecological harbor has been carried out in an orderly manner; the green planting and covering projects of several stone mines closed in Tianlong village and liujiatang village have been implemented; the edge repair and regulation project of Shangshu town has been started.

In view of the relatively large number of polluting enterprises in Shangshu Township, such as paper-making enterprises, cement building materials enterprises, mines and so on, Shangshu Township strictly controls these enterprises and makes rectification within a time limit, so as to make the pollution discharge of these enterprises meet various standards. In order to promote cleaner production of industrial enterprises and better protect the natural ecological environment, Shangshu township will also adjust its industrial layout. The mining enterprises that have damaged the ecological environment have been closed down, and in the case of financial difficulties, a large amount of money has been invested in planting green and covering green.
