Aishan Street

Aishan street is located in the central business district of Wuxing District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, starting from Renmin Road in the East, national highway 104 in the west, bounded by Shihe River in the South and longxigang in the north, with a total area of about 3.2 square kilometers. Tiefo temple, known as "Jiangnan ancient temple", is located on Laodong road in its jurisdiction. It is famous for casting Tieguanyin Buddha statue in Song Dynasty. Tiefo temple was built in the Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty (713-741). It was originally named Kaiyuan Temple. Later, it was burned and only survived in the corridor and veranda. In 744, the famous Jianzhen monk failed to make three eastward voyages to Japan. He came to Huzhou from Ningbo to preach and vowed to make Tieguanyin statue. In 1025, he accepted Jianzhen's will and made Tieguanyin statue. Later, Kaiyuan Temple was burned and the temple and Buddha statue were destroyed All destroyed, and Tieguanyin alone. In the first year of Xining (1068), it was named Shousheng Guanyin temple. In 1152, Shaoxing was renamed Guangfu Guanyin temple. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, it was destroyed by the war, and only Tieguanyin was left. In 1369, the temple was moved to the present site and rebuilt. In 1433, there were three cast iron Buddhas on the wall of Seng county. One was 4 meters high, and the other two was 2.5 meters high. They were all in the full sitting position. In the following hundreds of years, temples were destroyed and built again and again. At the end of 1966, the iron Buddha Temple suffered a disaster. All the three iron Buddhas of Ming Dynasty were destroyed. Only the iron Guanyin cast in Song Dynasty survived. This standing statue of Tie Guanyin made in the Song Dynasty is the crystallization of the wisdom of an unknown craftsman in ancient times. It has high artistic value. The statue of Tie Guanyin has a bun, smooth pleats, crossed hands, barefoot and baretoe. It has a dignified posture and elegant posture. It stands on the lotus seat in the shape of "s". It is 2.15 meters high and weighs about 1.5 tons. It is a rare art treasure, which inherits the rich style of the Tang Dynasty and the Song Dynasty. After restoration, the red walls of Tiefo temple are winding and the flowers and trees are sparse. It also enriches the calligraphy of Zhao Meng's Tianning Wanbang Buddhist temple and the 1.5-ton Sutra clock in Japan. It is a place for Huzhou citizens and international friends to visit.

Human history

Located in Qinlao street, Aishan street, Niushi Zhuangyuan hall, with a history of 200 years, is the residence of niufubao, the last Zhuangyuan in Huzhou history. In 1838, niufubao participated in the scientific examination of that year and was promoted to be the number one scholar. In this year, Zeng Guofan, a famous figure in history, won the prize. Niu Fubao didn't build the No. 1 scholar's mansion after he won the No. 1 prize. He only changed the ancestral hall "Lide hall" into "No. 1 scholar's Mansion". There are hall, hall, Zhaobi, family school, East Building and so on. The hall faces south, with three rooms in width and a front porch. The beam structure of the hall is beam lifting, with three floors of main beam, secondary beam and small beam. It is the highest building in Huzhou. There is an aisle behind the hall. It is the top of Xieshan mountain and the aisle to the back garden. On the west side of the front eaves stands the Yi gate, which is equipped with a brick gate, with the words "etiquette and music" written on the forehead. There are exquisite brick carvings on both sides. There are officials holding the guard of honor fans behind them, officials holding Chaohu in their own hands. Under the forehead is the design of elegant peony, and on the stone slabs on both sides are carved the design of sika deer, which is symmetrical. In the lower part of the gate tower, there is a white jade xumizuo, with flying phoenix and unicorn carved on the waist. The lidetang near the river is a typical building of Qing Dynasty, with carved beams and painted buildings, cornices and corners, still showing the glory and style of the past.
