Yunzhou sub district office of Ruian City was established in 1992 by the merger of Yunjiang Township and Zhouchang township. Located in the southwest of the city, it covers an area of 25.5 square kilometers and has a population of 40000. Rui (an) Wen (Cheng) provincial road passes through the border. The whole area is river valley plain water network zone. It has 25 village committees including Zhongzhou, tielu, ganqiao, Gaoyuan, Fanrong, Huanglong, zhuo'ao, Gaowang, Matou, Xishan, Shemen, Xingli, Aotou, Xinglong, Shanghe, Zhoucun, mentai, Shangbu, shibajiang, Xiahui, Xiadong, banhe, Taitou, Liuzhai and shaobu. Rice is the main agricultural crop. The industry takes rubber shoes industry as the pillar, including hardware, chemical industry, packaging, leather industry, etc. Zhuo'ao village is the hometown of Zhuo Jing, the Minister of household affairs of Ming Dynasty. Shanghe village is one of the founders of Chinese Research on ichthyology and Hydrobiology, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. The fishing nunnery at the foot of DAAO mountain, the ancestral home of Wu Xianwen, is one of the places where our Party's early revolutionary activities took place.

In August 2000, the organizational system of Feiyun Town, Linlong Town, Gexiang town and Yunzhou township was abolished, and a new Feiyun Town was established. The adjusted Feiyun Town governs 72 administrative villages and 5 residential areas, and the town government is stationed in Madao village. in 2011, Feiyun Town was abolished and two streets, Feiyun and Nanbin, were set up. The former Feiyun district and Yunzhou District of Feiyun Town, with an area of 50.80 square kilometers and a population of 64700, have jurisdiction over five communities (rural communities), seven residential areas and 53 administrative villages. The sub district office is located in Madao village. In 2016, Zhejiang Provincial People's Government approved the administrative division adjustment of some administrative divisions in Ruian City, and agreed to adjust the jurisdiction of Feiyun street and add Yunzhou street. After the adjustment, Feiyun Street governs 5 residential areas (Zhenxing, Qiaonan, Feixia, Qiaodong and Jiangnan), 28 administrative villages (Madao, Shangbu, Qianjin, Dufeng, Xilong, Wuqiao, Donglong, Xiadang, chenjialong, shengtianji, dushantou, Longxi, Longtou, Zhangqiao, Sunqiao, Qiaoli, Qiaolin, huitou, jinjiabao, linsilong, Dongfeng, Nangang, Pukou, Henghe and shijiemen) Yunzhou street has jurisdiction over 25 administrative villages (Shangbu, Xiahui, Xiadong, banhe, Tantou, shibajiang, shaobu, Liuzhai, mentai, Zhoucun, Shanghe, Fanrong, Xinglong, Zhongzhou, Aotou, Gaoyuan, Xingli, ganqiao, tielu, Shemen, Xishan, Matou, Gaowang, Huanglong, zhuo'ao) In the village of prosperity.
