Haixi town

Haixi town governs 20 administrative villages with a total population of 34875 (in 2017) and an area of 32.79 square kilometers (in 2017), including 12048 mu of cultivated land and 19.4 km of coastline. Haixi Town, located on the West Bank of the East China Sea, is a new town named after the economic circle to the west of the Taiwan Strait, which is separated and merged from Xiwan community of Aojiang town and Songbu community of Wanquan town. It is compatible with Binhai New Area and will be the main "comprehensive supporting area" of Pingyang port area of Wenzhou port in the future. Relying on the industrial development of Binhai New Area, the urbanization construction of Songbu old city and the development of Xiwan tourism, the town will strive to build a modern Binhai town with "Binhai ancient town, industrial new town and Haixi customs".

Haixi town is located in the east of Wanquan plain in the lower reaches of Feiyun River. The main economic industries of Haixi town are clothing, fishery and tourism. There are about 40 enterprises, including clothing, machinery and printing. Among them, Caitai project is the key project of the city. There are more than 300 large and small motorized fishing boats in the town, and marine aquatic products are very rich. A number of "yujiale" and "Nongjiale" projects have been developed successively, among which tiaotou village is a provincial characteristic village of Nongjiale. At the same time, Xiwan has been rated as national AA tourist area and Wenzhou Municipal scenic tourist area, receiving 1.2 million tourists annually. "The road of Xiongguan is really like iron, and now we are stepping over from the beginning.". Five scenic spots in Xiwan

Mengyin cave, Wanxiang painted wall, Tiandu stone pillar and owl rock are the main scenic spots. the cangyan frescoes in Xiwan scenic area are mainly composed of reef and stone landscape. Xiaoyangshan, Hengzhou, Longtan, Jimu chaoguangdian and Huangjia Dagao are the characteristics of the scenic spot. Tiaotou scenic spot is a comprehensive scenic spot formed by fishing village, steep cliff, sand beach, Niangniang Temple, three high halls and beacon tower. The key scenic spots are Baibu Jinsha, beacon camp, Mogan Bay, sister cave and Danxin rock. There are more than 100 caves, 14 beaches, 6 islands, 12 beacon towers and four wonders in the scenic spot.
