Panhuo Street

Panhuo sub district of Yinzhou District of Ningbo city extends to Qiuai town in the East, Dongqianhu town in the west, Yinxian Avenue in the south, Yongtaiwen Expressway and Zhonghe sub district in the west, and dongxincheng in the north. The sub district office is located at 668 Chengxin road.

The origin of place names

Panhuo street is named after "Panhuo bridge". It is said that after the fifth sons of the King Wen *, the descendants of the descendants of Suzhou lived in the Anxiang embroidery workshop of Yinzhou County, Changzhou county. In the third year of Chunxi of Song Dynasty (1176), the Duke of Jingzhuang got the name of xuansun, Cai Kai. One day when he was in his prime of life, he put a pigeon in front of his house. The pigeon flew into the garden of Wang Yushi's mansion in caijianong, Yuexiang, Yinnan. When Zishi caught the pigeon, Wang Yushi took Zishi as his adopted son. Later, he married his daughter to him and recruited him as his son-in-law. Later, Zishi wanted to build her own house. Wang Yushi asked Zishi to move a fire to the south. When the fire in the basin moved to the side of Zhongtang River, the fire became more and more prosperous. Zishi decided to live here. For the convenience of pedestrians, stone masons were invited to build a bridge on the Zhongtang River, named "banhuo bridge". During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed "pan huoqiao" with its original homonym. In memory of his merits in building "Pan Huo bridge", later generations named the bridge "Pan Huo bridge" village name and township name. For some reason, "Pan Huo" got its name.

Historical evolution

In the Tang Dynasty, Ying Biao, the governor of Mingzhou, was the assassin of the Ming Dynasty, and the Yingshi under Jianhu was the Yingshi under Dongqian Lake, so it was called Xiaying. Before liberation, it belonged to Tongbao, Shanwei, Pangang and other towns. In 1950, it was divided into Xiaying, Jiangcun, Panhuo and Shanwei townships. In 1958, it was the management area of Xiaying and Panhuo in Dongfeng commune. Xiaying Township and Panhuo Township were built in 1984. In May 1992, Xiaying and Panhuo townships were merged and rebuilt into Xiaying town.

In 1997, with an area of 27 square kilometers and a population of 31000, it has jurisdiction over Hexi, Hedong, gujia, daheyan, cunjia, Liucun, aoliwang, Chaijia, tuanqiao, Yuanjia, Liduan, waiduan, Wandi, Jiangliu, Shengli, Jiangcun, Dongsheng, shijiama, liming, Panhuo, wangjiaqing, yinjiakeng, Tongwang, caoai, Miaosheng, Panyi, xiaohuayuan, Qixin, Lianxin, sunma, tanjiacao 36 administrative villages, including sigang, Tongjia, Zhonge, Gejia and Tuqiao, and 2 neighborhood committees, including dongyingxincun and Xiaying.

In 2003, the system of Xiaying town was abolished, and the original administrative region of Xiaying town was divided into six villages (gujia, Linjia, Liucun, Liduan, waiduan, daheyan) which are located in the south of Yinxian Avenue. The village committee of the six villages has been moved to Dongyu new village of Xiaying town, and the administrative village management belongs to Xiaying street after the zoning adjustment).

Xiaying Street covers an area of 26 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 55622, including 35621 non-agricultural residents. It has jurisdiction over 3 residential areas and 36 administrative villages. The sub district office is located at No. 1, Ying Avenue, underground. In 2004, Xiaying street was adjusted from 36 villages to 30 villages.

At the end of 2007, the area was 32.1 square kilometers, the registered residence population was 38195, the population was 67303, the jurisdiction of yacun, Dongyu, Dongxing, Dongcheng, Yingying, Dongying and 7 neighborhood committees, goose, Tong Jia, Si Gang, Tong Wang, Cao Ai, Miao Sheng, Pan Yi, Qi Xin, Xiao garden, Cai Jia Cao, Wang Jianong, Shi Jiama, Ge Jia, Hexi, Hedong, Tu Qiao, Yin Jiakeng, Wan Di, Jiang six, and victory. There are 25 administrative villages, including Jiangcun, Dongsheng, sunma, liming and Panhuo. In 2008, on the basis of the original administrative area of Xiaying street, three villages, namely caijiacao, sunma and Panyi, and two communities, namely Dongyu and Dongcheng, were divided into the jurisdiction of new Zhonghe street. After the adjustment, the area of jurisdiction extends to the border with Qiuai town and Dongqianhu town in the East, Yunlong Town in the south, tongsanxian and Zhonghe street in the west, and the eastern new town in the north.

On July 16, 2012, "Ningbo Municipal People's government's reply on the administrative division adjustment of Xiaying street in Yinzhou District" (Yongzheng FA No. 72): it is agreed that the current Xiaying Street will be divided into two streets with Yinxian Avenue as the boundary, Panhuo Street will be established in the trust area of Panhuo Management Committee to the north of Yinxian Avenue, and the area to the south of Yinxian Avenue will still be under the jurisdiction of Xiaying street.

Panhuo Street governs seven administrative villages including yinjiakeng, xiaohuayuan, panhuoqiao, Miaosheng, caoai, wangjianong and Tuqiao, and eight communities including Dongnan, Yayuan, Dongying, Shiji, Zijun, Tongxin, Shangcheng and Xingyuan.
