Jieshou Township

Jieshou township is under the jurisdiction of Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Located in the Midwest of Chun'an County, the lake has a long coastline and numerous islands. The scenery along the lake is beautiful and charming.

Regional overview

In 2001, it was formed by the merger of Dongting and tongziwu townships, named after Jieshou archipelago. It has an area of 121 square kilometers and a population of 7467 (2017). It is close to Qiandao Lake in the southeast, Jiangjia town in the West and Zitong town in the north. The Chunkai highway under construction passes through the countryside, and its location advantage will be more obvious.

Within the territory of the long shoreline, winding harbor, vast waters, small streams. There are three sources of water: Yanyuan, Songyuan and jinshanyuan. The streams of wushiwu, shijiaping and dongyuankeng flow into Qiandao Lake from west to east or from north to south. The terrain is inclined from northwest to Southeast, surrounded by mountains. The northwest and southwest edge of the mountains are continuous and undulating, with an altitude of 300-800 meters. Jinshan, shijiaping, Kan Shang and other villages are located on the hillside with an altitude of more than 400 meters. The territory is rich in forest resources, with a mountain forest area of 124672 mu, a forest stock of 231600 cubic meters, and a forest coverage rate of 82.8%. Beautiful natural and ecological environment is the charm of attracting investors to develop rural tourism. Jieshou township is rich in specialty products and abundant in resources. It is rich in tea, citrus, fishery and other agricultural and sideline products. It is known as "the hometown of Citrus" and "the hometown of sericulture". "Qingxiangyuan" has successfully entered Hangzhou and other metropolises, and is well received by the local people. The territory is rich in shale, lead-zinc ore and other mineral resources, among which shale resources are excellent resources for the development of new building materials. Since 2003, the township party committee and government have put forward the requirements of "prospering the county with lakes and integrating into the city". Citrus, tea, sericulture since 2005, the Party committee and government of Jieshou township have focused on the development of "two water and two leaves" characteristic agriculture, vigorously implemented the development idea of "building a hundred Li fruit corridor, building a ten thousand mu citrus base", strengthened the adjustment of industrial structure, and made great progress in characteristic agriculture of Jieshou township. In the winter of 2007 and the spring of 2008, the newly developed high-quality fruit base covers an area of 1600 mu, sericulture area of 1200 Mu and tea area of 105 mu. In 2008, there were 3485 Mu mulberry garden and 2064 mu tea garden. We raised 2524 spring silkworms, an increase of 396 over the previous year; produced 2482 cocoons, an increase of 474.2; the output value was 3.149 million yuan, a decrease of 28900 yuan over the previous year; the average unit price was 1125 yuan per cocoon, ranking first in China. Spring tea produced 25.66 tons of famous tea, an increase of 0.99 tons over the previous year; the output value was 3.149 million yuan, an increase of 780000 yuan over the previous year, an increase of 33%; the average unit price was 122.72 yuan, an increase of 26.72 yuan / kg over the previous year's 96 yuan. Citrus base area and yield ranked first in the county. Citrus industry with the brand of "qingxiangyuan" has become the leading industry of Jieshou township's economic development. It is famous for its early maturity, sweet taste and good quality. With the opening of Qianfen highway, the citrus industry belt along 15 villages in Kuqa will bring new development opportunities to Jieshou's economic tourism.
