Sanshuitou town

Sanshuitou Town, belonging to Yutian County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Yutian County, adjacent to yahongqiao town and yangjiatao town in the East, woluogu town and shijiuwo town in the south, Hongqiao Town and chenjiapu town in the west, with an administrative area of 51 square kilometers.

In 1958, sanshuitou people's commune was established; in May 1983, the people's commune was abolished and sanshuitou township was established; in 1993, sanshuitou Township and qianjiagou Township were merged to establish sanshuitou town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in San Shui tou town was 27599. As of June 2020, sanshuitou town has jurisdiction over 27 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in sanshuitou village.

History of construction

In 1958, sanshuitou people's commune was established.

In 1961, the scale of people's commune was reduced and sanshuitou people's commune was split.

In May 1983, the people's commune was abolished and sanshuitou township was set up.

In 1993, sanshuitou Township and qianjiagou Township were merged to establish sanshuitou town.

History and culture

In 1404, the two surnames of Chen and Wang immigrated to establish the village. Because there is Qinggou water flowing from north to south in the north of the village, it flows into Shuangcheng River, so it is named sanshuitou. The town is named after the resident village.

JiangHao's former residence is located in beiliujiaqiao village, sanshuitou Town, 1km southeast of Yutian County. In July 1993, JiangHao's former residence was announced as a key cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province by the people's Government of Hebei Province.

Famous people

Jiang Hao (1880-1931), formerly known as Jiang Wenhao, was a scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. He fought for the cause of democratic revolution all his life, and was praised by Mao Zedong as "an evergreen revolutionary elder like pine and cypress".
