Tang Wangxiang
Tangwang township is located in the southeast of Yangzhou City, adjacent to the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal in the East, the ancient canal in the west, Yangzhou Economic Development Zone in the South and the urban area in the north. The total area of Tangwang township is 10.3 square kilometers (2017). It governs four administrative villages, namely Lianyun, Jiulong, Tongxin and Henggou, and two communities, namely Dongsheng garden and Jiulongwan, with a permanent population of 24696 (2017).
Tangwang has convenient transportation. Ningtong Expressway and Shanghai Shaanxi Expressway (under construction) pass through the area. Yangwei Road, Yunhe South Road, Kaifa East Road and other trunk roads run through the whole township. Tangwang has gradually become the transportation hub in the southeast of Yangzhou bus station.
Yangzhou Food Industrial Park and business logistics park have accelerated their development, and gradually formed five advantageous industries of food processing, business logistics, auto parts, precision mechanical and electrical, and electronic technology.
At present, Tangwang is seizing the opportunity of urbanization development, focusing on the industrial park, resettlement community and urban road network, focusing on accelerating the development of modern service industry, promoting the transformation and leap forward at full speed, accelerating the construction of "four Tangwang" (innovation Tangwang, strength Tangwang, livelihood Tangwang, clean Tangwang), and striving to build the southeast business cluster area of Yangzhou.
In 2011, the township is expected to achieve a GDP of 5.58 billion yuan, a fiscal revenue of over 100 million yuan, a per capita net income of 17000 yuan for farmers, and a total industrial output value of 2.1 billion yuan. It has completed the annual task of attracting investment ahead of schedule for seven consecutive years, and won the first prize in the comprehensive evaluation of "Three Civilizations" for three consecutive years. In the south, high-quality rice is mainly planted, and in the north, pollution-free vegetables are mainly developed. It is famous for its south Luobu producing area in Yangzhou. .
