Rugao high tech Industrial Development Zone in Jiangsu Province is located in the southeast of the main urban area of Rugao City, with a total administrative planning area of 77 square kilometers, 17 administrative villages (communities) and a total population of 64200. Rugao Software Park, formerly established in 2009, was approved by the people's Government of Jiangsu Province in June 2012. Rugao high tech Industrial Development Zone of Jiangsu Province was established in December 2009 and officially approved by Jiangsu provincial government in June 2012.
