Liandu District, Liandu District, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, is the political, economic and cultural center of Southwest Zhejiang. With a total area of 1502.10 square kilometers, it is the seat of Lishui Municipal People's government. In 2011, the total population of Liandu district was 460000. Liandu district is surrounded by mountains and rivers. It is shaped like a lotus petal. After Song Dynasty, it was also called Liancheng. After Lishui City was established as a district, Liandu was designated as a municipal district.
Liandu district is located in the southwest of Zhejiang Province, in the middle reaches of Oujiang River, between 28 ° 06 ′ - 28 ° 44 ′ N and 119 ° 32 ′ - 120 ° 08 ′ E. Historical evolution
In Xia, Shang and Western Zhou Dynasty, it was ou. During the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, it was Ouyue. Qin belongs to Minzhong county.
In the third year of Huidi in the Western Han Dynasty (192 BC), sun xuyao, king of Yue, was appointed king of the East China Sea. In the second year of the first Yuan Dynasty (85 BC), Huipu county was set up in Dongou, which belongs to Kuaiji county and is called Huipu county.
At the beginning of Jianwu (25) in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the province went back to Pu and entered Yin county. In the first year of Zhanghe (87), Huipu was established as a county, named zhangan. In the fourth year of Jian'an (199), Songyang county was set up in Nanxiang township of an County, which is still a county of Kuaiji. In the second year of Wu Taiping in the Three Kingdoms period (257), Linhai county was set up in the east of Jijun County, which belonged to Songyang county. In the first year of Taining in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (323), Linhai county was divided into Yongjia County and Songyang county. In the Southern Dynasties, song, Qi, Liang and Chen remained unchanged.
Sui kaihuang nine years (589), the abolition of Linhai, Yongjia two counties for the county, divided into Songyang Dongxiang home Kuocang County, home Chuzhou, governance Kuocang. In 592, Chuzhou was changed to kuozhou. In the third year of Daye (607), kuozhou was renamed Yongjia County.

According to the records of places of interest, there is Liyang mountain in the north of the county, so it is named Lishui. "Guacanghui Ji" says: "there is Liyang mountain in the north of the county, and Qingxi River in the lower ring. The name of the county is Lishui."
In the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, Liandu district is the land of Wuyue, belonging to Chuzhou. Taiping Xingguo three years (978), Wuyue back to the Song Dynasty, counties along the former dynasty.
In 1276, Lishui was changed to Chuzhou road.
In the Ming Dynasty, Lu was changed into Fu, and Liandu was located in the state capital. In 1452, Yunhe County was divided into Fuyun Township and Yuanhe Township in Lishui, and Xuanping county was divided into xuanci Township, Yinghe Township and Yide township.
In the Qing Dynasty, Liandu was located in the state capital, until July 1911, except Lishui County. Since the Sui Dynasty, Lishui has been the seat of state, county, road and government.
On November 25, 1911 (the third year of Xuantong reign of the Qing Dynasty), the recovery army recovered Lishui, established a military and political branch of the prefecture, and also managed Lishui County affairs. It was subordinate to the Zhejiang military government.
In 1914, Lishui County belonged to Ouhai road. In the 16th year of the Republic of China, the road was abandoned, and the provincial and county level system was established. In the 19th year of the Republic of China, the province set up the county supervision district, which was the 11th district, and then the second special zone. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, Lishui County was set up as the ninth administrative supervision district. On May 10, 1949, Lishui County was liberated, belonging to the seventh special district of Zhejiang Province.
On October 1, 1949, the people's Republic of China was founded. Lishui County belongs to Lishui district. In April 1950, the county government moved to Bihu town.
In January 1952, Lishui district was withdrawn, and Lishui County belongs to Wenzhou district. May 13. The county government moved back to Chengguan town.
In July 1958 and February 1960, Yunhe and Jingning counties were merged successively.

In May 1963, Lishui district was re established. Lishui County belongs to Lishui district and is still the headquarters of the special office.
In November 1968, Lishui County was renamed as Lishui district.
On March 1, 1986, the State Council approved the removal of Lishui County to Lishui City, which still belongs to Lishui area.
On June 6, 2000, the State Council approved the abolition of Lishui City at the county level and the establishment of Liandu District, with the former administrative region of Lishui City at the county level as the administrative region of Liandu district. Liandu district is the new location of Lishui City.
The origin of place names
The origin of the name of Liandu district is that Lishui City is close to mountains and streams. It is surrounded by mountains and looks like lotus petals. After the Song Dynasty, it was also called Liancheng. Lishui also produces "Chuzhou white lotus". It named "Liandu" as the district name of the city, aiming to build the beautiful Liandu into a prosperous city. The name of the district was selected from more than 2000 participants in the collection of district names in the whole Lishui area.

On August 10, 2001, the provincial government issued the "reply on the adjustment of some administrative divisions in Liandu District of Lishui City", which abolished the organizational system of Lianhe Township and merged into Bihu town; abolished the organizational system of Chengguan town of Lishui City at the county level, and established four sub district offices, including Zijin sub district, Wanxiang sub district, Yanquan sub district and Baiyun sub district.
In 2006, Liandu district made adjustments to some administrative divisions: abolishing the organizational system of zhengdi Township and merging with Fengyuan township; abolishing the organizational system of yanniao Township and merging with Huangcun township; abolishing the organizational system of Juxi Township and merging with Taiping Township; abolishing the organizational system of Xixi Township, xiechuan Township and Shuangxi town and merging with Yaxi town; abolishing the organizational system of Fuling Township and setting up Fuling sub district office.
On December 22, 2011, Liancheng street was set up instead of Liancheng town.
On December 11, 2012, according to the spirit of Zhejiang Provincial People's government's reply on the adjustment of some administrative divisions in Liandu District of Lishui City (zzh [2012] No. 209) and Lishui Municipal People's government's reply on the adjustment of some administrative divisions in Liandu district (lizh [2012] No. 101), Gaoxi township was abolished and its administrative region was merged into Bihu town. Shuanghuang township was abolished, and its administrative area was directly under the jurisdiction of Liandu district government and merged into Yanquan street.

River runoff
All rivers in Liandu belong to Oujiang River system. Oujiang River originates at the north foot of guomaojian at the junction of Qingyuan and Longquan counties. Its upstream section is called Longquan River. It flows through Yunhe County and enters dagangtou town of Liandu district. After meeting Songyin River, it is called Daxi river. After passing through Bihu, Shuige, Liancheng, Fuling, Vientiane, Zijin and other townships (streets), it enters Qingtian County. After meeting with the stream, it is called Oujiang River. The main stream of Daxi river is 46 km long in Liandu and its river course falls The difference is 43 meters, and the drainage area is 1373.65 square kilometers.
