Zheng'an County Zheng'an county is a county under the jurisdiction of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is located in the northeast of Zunyi City. It is the forefront of Guizhou and Chongqing. It is an important economic and cultural intersection area of Southern Chongqing and Northern Guizhou. It is known as the "gateway of Northern Guizhou". Zheng'an county is located in the north of Guizhou Province, adjacent to Nanchuan District of Chongqing in the north, Daozhen county and Wuchuan County in the northeast, Fenggang county and Meitan County in the southeast, Suiyang County in the South and Tongzi County in the northwest.
In 2017, the GDP of Zheng'an county was 10063.82 million yuan, including 2863.98 million yuan in the primary industry, 2221 million yuan in the secondary industry and 4978.84 million yuan in the tertiary industry. The proportion of the three industrial structures in GDP is 28.4% in the primary industry, 22.1% in the secondary industry and 49.5% in the tertiary industry.
The area of Zheng An county is 2595 square kilometers, with 20 towns (townships and streets) under its jurisdiction, and 656518 registered residence (2017), including 23 ethnic minorities, such as the Kam, Miao and Tujia. In Tang Dynasty, the second year of Wude (619) belonged to Xinning County of Yizhou, followed by Zhizhou, Laozhou and Yizhou; the 16th year of Zhenguan (642) belonged to Zhenzhou; the first year of Tianbao (742) changed Zhenzhou to Yelang County; the first year of Qianyuan (758) restored Zhenzhou.
During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, it was under the jurisdiction of former Shu and later Shu.
In the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Leyuan County of Zhenzhou at the beginning; in the first year of Kaibao (968), Zhenzhou was changed to xigaozhou; in the second year of Daguan (1108), Zhenzhou was renamed again; in the tenth year of Xianchun (1274), Zhenzhou (Leyuan, Suiyang) was assigned to Bozhou and belonged to Kuizhou road.
In the Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to Zhenzhou first and was attached to the South Road of Zongguan Fu in Zunyi; in the 29th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1290), it set up a lawsuit against the director of Zhenzhou, such as sining, and was attached to the frontier appeasement Department of Bozhou; in the 23rd year of Zhizheng (1363), Yuzhen of the Ming Dynasty was called emperor according to Shu, and changed Zhenzhou "Zhen" to "Zhen", and called Zhenzhou sining and other director of Zhenzhou.
In the Ming Dynasty, in 1384, it was changed to Zhenzhou Chief Secretary and attached to Xuanwei Department of Bozhou; in 1601, after Pingbo, it was changed to tuguiliu and Zhenzhou chief secretary was changed to zhenanzhou, which belongs to Zunyi military and civilian government and attached to Sichuan chief secretary.
In the Qing Dynasty, the Junmin government of Zunyi was changed to Zunyi government in the 26th year of Kangxi (1687); in the second year of Yongzheng (1724), zhenanzhou was changed to zhenganzhou; in the sixth year of Yongzheng (1728), zhenganzhou was attached to the chief envoy of Guizhou with Zunyi government, and since then Zhengan has been naturalized in Guizhou.
In the second year of the Republic of China (1913), the Guizhou Provincial Office issued "Lu Gao", which abolished Zheng'an Prefecture and set it up as Zheng'an County; in the third year of the Republic of China (1914), Zheng'an Prefecture was changed into Zheng'an County, belonging to Qianzhong road; in the ninth year of the Republic of China (1920), it directly belonged to Guizhou Province; in the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), it belonged to the office of the Fifth District Commissioner; in the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941), Daozhen county was set up in the northeast of Zheng'an.
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it initially belonged to Zunyi Office of Guizhou Province; in 1958, Daozhen county was merged into Zheng'an County; in 1961, Daozhen county was restored. Zheng'an still governs the area before the merger.

On August 31, 2018, Zunyi city's request for instructions on administrative division adjustment of Anchang town in Zheng'an county was approved by Guizhou provincial government. The administrative division adjustment of Zheng'an county is as follows: Ruihao street is set up from Anchang town. The newly set Ruihao Street governs Ruihao neighborhood committee, Jiefang neighborhood committee, JianZheng neighborhood committee, xiaomizhuang neighborhood committee, Ruixin neighborhood committee, xinlongkong neighborhood committee, and the neighborhood office is located in Ruihao neighborhood Committee. The administrative system of Anchang town is retained. After adjustment, Anchang town governs 11 villages (neighborhoods) including Anchang neighborhood committee, Guangming neighborhood committee, guanjing neighborhood committee, Xingzhuang neighborhood committee, Shijing neighborhood committee, Shengli neighborhood committee, Ziqiang village, Qianjin village, Shifeng village, Dongba village and Zhengjiang village. Zheng'an county is located in the northeast of Zunyi, at the east foot of Dalou mountains and the upper reaches of Furong river. Cambrian is the oldest stratum exposed in the territory, and its lithology is mainly composed of dolomite, silty sand mountain and mudstone.

The eastern part is dominated by Zhongshan platform and hills, and the mountains are mostly single stone mountains. The highest altitude is 1838 meters, the lowest is 448 meters, and the average altitude is 1200 meters.
